Best of 2013

2013 had some really great books, and it was excruciating to have to pick only 10. That being said, it had to be done, and here they are. Note: They’re listed in alphabetical order by title.

In these last days before the new year, I want to spend a little time on each book, explaining why I loved it so much. As I post, I’ll link back to the title here. Click on the link to take you to my post on that particular book.

The Death of Bees, by Lisa O’Donnell
Eleanor & Park, by Rainbow Rowell
Fin & Lady, by Cathleen Schine
Life After Life, by Kate Atkinson
Little Wolves, by Thomas Maltman
The Lost Girls of Rome, by Donato Carrisi
Real Talk for Real Teachers, by Rafe Esquith
S., by Doug Dorst and J.J. Abrams
The Signature of All Things, by Elizabeth Gilbert
This is the Story of a Happy Marriage, by Ann Patchett
